Anastasija-Evgenija RU/FI (b.1998) is an imagination rich female artist based in Helsinki, Finland. Her journey transcends geographical borders as she meticulously collects data, studies alternative lifestyles, and embraces a continuous cycle of personal growth.

Positioning herself as a colorist drawing artist, Anastasija-Evgenija seamlessly merges the vivid strokes of drawing with the fluidity of watercolor, crafting a unique artistic identity. Her multidisciplinary pursuits extend to photography, enriching her expressive repertoire.

Statement

My work is rooted in an exploration of The Self — the authentic, naked self that exists beyond ego and conditioning.

The Self is The God particle within me, a connection to The Source — the origin of all creation, the essence of all things. In its purest form, this Source expresses itself as The Feminine and The Child — symbols of power and creativity, yet also innocence and curiosity.

Through my art, I aim to notice the subtle: the inner shifts, the intricate dance of the ego’s desires and defences, and the ever-evolving lens by which I view the world. It is a dialogue between my beliefs, limitations, and programming — a lifelong journey of exploration that invites me to let go of the conceptual self and allow The Source to express itself through me.

This process is childlike creative play, where mind and matter meet and the boundaries between them dissolve. By surrendering to this exploration, I connect with the innocence of The Child and the creative power of The Feminine, rediscovering The Self in the process. Through this overstanding, I open myself to a deeper connection with the universe.

Ultimately, my art is a journey of discovery, not only of myself but of our shared connection to The Source. I hope to offer others a glimpse of this connection, fostering a dialogue of authenticity and creative exploration.
